About the JADE UK Congress 2008

The annual UK Congress brings together Junior Entrepreneurs from the UK network, representatives from Europe, business leaders and company representatives. During the 3 day event we have a full agenda of a business game with an award ceremony, a gala dinner with a formal dress code, Scottish whiskey tasting and the purpose of sharing knowledge between JEs and other interested parties. The aim of the conference is to encourage entrepreneurship within the UK student body by providing an active and educational conference that will give students the knowledge, enthusiasm and drive to develop their own business.

This year we decided on the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility: an ethical impact? to highlight the importance of CSR in the business environment and its impact on business today. Within the event we aim to achieve the following objectives:

  • An energetic and enthusiastic environment in which both professionals and students can exchange ideas and knowledge.
  • Inspiration for young entrepreneurs aided by knowledge of the necessary skills required to become successful.
  • An opportunity for students to learn more about the companies sponsoring the event and what they have to offer.
